Here's some fun clinic news:
We're now offering pediatric pelvic floor physical therapy at our Washington D.C. clinic.
For kids and teens, pelvic floor therapy can help with bladder, bowel, and pelvic floor coordination. These are things that can affect comfort, confidence, sleep, school, sports, and everyday life.
At DPP, our approach is gentle, non-invasive, and goal-focused. We work with each child at their pace and involve parents throughout the process, so everyone understands what's happening and what they can do at home to support progress.
3 signs your child might benefit:
- Ongoing bladder concerns: frequent urgency, accidents, difficulty fully emptying, or bedwetting.
- Bowel challenges: constipation, stool accidents, straining, or discomfort.
- Pelvic or abdominal discomfort: especially when it affects school, sports, sleep, or everyday activities.
You don't need to know exactly what's causing the problem before reaching out. That's what we're here for.
